Sustainability
Endeks Europe's "Sustainability" and "Social Responsibility Policy" are evaluated in a way that reveals Endeks Europe's responsibility towards its stakeholders, both in the region where our factory is located and nationwide.
The Corporate Sustainability Policy addresses business models and processes based on sustainable future strategies on the basis of environmental, social, and corporate governance with a holistic approach.
Our understanding of sustainability is carried out within the framework of both corporate social responsibility and social studies for the public, taking into account the impact criteria on society. Endeks Europe's Corporate Social Responsibility understanding has an integrated integrity within the scope of company culture, business processes, and all company policies.
In this context, Endeks Europe includes comprehensive and detailed information in its activity reports and the Company's informatics publications regarding periodic and cyclical studies. In this direction, these processes are shared with all our stakeholders, especially our employees and beneficiaries, and presented to the public. In addition, necessary information and relevant links are included on Endeks Europe's websites, and activities created and maintained in line with corporate policies are presented to the information of stakeholders.
Within the scope of the Sustainability Policy, Endeks Europe, which evaluates Social Responsibility activities as the accountability of institutions and their ability to fulfill their duties and responsibilities towards their stakeholders, adopts the implementation of "sustainable and developable" social responsibility practices as a corporate policy.
Water Usage
Although 70% of the world (1.4 billion km3) is covered with water, only 2.5% of the total water (35 million km3) is freshwater suitable for use. Of these, we can only use the water found on the surface and in the atmosphere. The increasing world population further increases the importance of water at this point. Today, 2 billion people do not have access to clean water. The number of countries with water shortages will increase 6-fold in the next 30 years.
For the supply of water, which is indispensable for life, 11 thousand facilities in 120 countries convert saltwater into drinkable freshwater. Although obtaining fresh water from salt water may seem like a solution, the conservation of existing water becomes more important due to both the cost and the assumption that this will lead to new problems. Aware of our responsibility, we have fulfilled our duty completely in all areas under our control.
Local water use is the cause of this large carbon footprint. Our priority here is to develop innovations and consumer campaigns, and to work with others to identify broader solutions that will meet the water needs of low-income urban consumers.
Waste and Packaging
ENDEKS EUROPE sees access to clean water as one of the most fundamental rights for people, just as in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. ENDEKS EUROPE produces all its products with the belief that access to cleaning materials that do not pollute nature with the waste generated during the production process or after the use of the product, and that do not harm consumer health, is the most fundamental right for all people. When using DOA, you will experience the comfort of "without getting dirty and without polluting" for people and nature, and you will contribute to leaving a clean world for our tomorrows.
We take care to ensure that all the consumables we use in the production process, as well as our product packaging, are environmentally friendly products.
In our country, used vegetable and animal oil wastes are disposed of haphazardly, polluting both our waters and groundwater. These wastes are valuable substances. When recycled, they can be used for various purposes. Thus, the harm they can cause to the environment can be minimized.
By recycling approximately 350,000,000 kg of used vegetable and animal waste oils generated annually instead of dumping them into the sewer, 350,000,000 kg of biodiesel, 35,000,000 kg of glycerin, and 3,500,000 kg of soap are produced, contributing to the economy.
By recycling used vegetable and animal oils, domestic wastewater is polluted 25% less. We would like to state that we continue our activities with awareness of our responsibility in all the organizations we are in.
Health and Hygiene
Cleaning products have an important place in daily life. Cleaning products, which allow us to get rid of dirt and germs safely and effectively, thus enable human life to continue in a healthy way. This provides people with a pleasant environment and living standard.
Today, millions of people die each year due to lack of safe drinking water, inadequate hygiene, and sanitation. Through our DOA brand, we have the power to help accelerate radical change.
